After being abandoned at the alter, a lovelorn single mother vows that her daughter Cindy will never suffer the same fate, by cursing her to literally burn alive any boy she ever touches (or who tries to touch her). But the precocious Cindy has read her fairy tales and knows that ‘true love’s kiss’ can break any curse. Of course, with a penchant for incinerating all suitors, her quest for true love becomes a real trial by fire.
Cindy is a dark comedic fairy tale created and directed by Marco Bucci and Bryce Sage. Narrated in rhyming couplets, the animated short, was produced with a grant from bravoFACT in association with Bell Media. It is just beginning its festival circuit with screenings to come in 2016!
